NIPI innovations in the National Health Summit!

The third National Summit on Good and Replicable Practices and Innovations in Public Health Facilities was held 29-31 August 2016 in Tirupati in the state of Andhra Pradesh.

The National Health Summit was organized by Ministry of Health & Family Welfare (MoHFW) to capture and share the best practices and innovations at various levels of health services delivery under National Health Mission (NHM). The summit was inaugurated by Shri J.P. Nadda, Union Minister of Health and Family Welfare and was attended by senior officials from the MoHFW, states and Union territories and various development partners.

Three innovations of  NIPI New Born Project were showcased in the summit as best practices being done- Pediatric Emergency Triage and Treatment (ETAT) services by Madhya Pradesh, Improving Quality of Newborn Care through use of SNCU Quality of Care Index (SQCI) in Odisha and Family Centered Care (FCC) done in the four NIPI supported states in technical collaboration with Dr RML Hospital in New Delhi.
